Privacy and data
Admirly is built to collect as little as possible.

Consent checkbox
The form includes a mandatory consent checkbox that links to the privacy page chosen in the wizard or under Settings → Admirly → General. The timestamp of the consent is kept with the review.
Privacy policy text
Settings → Privacy → Policy Guide contains a suggested paragraph for your policy describing what Admirly stores. Copy it into your privacy page.
Personal data export and erasure
Reviews are not linked to WordPress users or email addresses, so WordPress' built-in export/erase tools do not find them. To remove a review on request, search it by name under Reviews and delete it; attached media is deleted with it.
Spam protection
A hidden honeypot field, a timing check (forms submitted faster than a human could fill them are discarded) and a per-IP rate limit based on the hashed address. No CAPTCHA, no third-party service.
Licensing and updates
Admirly uses the Freemius SDK for licensing and updates. On activation you can opt in to or skip anonymous usage tracking. With a Pro license the site's URL and license key are sent to Freemius to validate the license and deliver updates. Nothing about your reviewers is ever sent anywhere.
Uninstall
Deactivating or deleting the plugin keeps your reviews by default. Enable Delete all data on uninstall under Settings → Admirly → Tools if you want a full cleanup (reviews, settings and uploaded media) when the plugin is deleted.
